The Sitting Room

A catalogue of the art nobody meant to make.

Every portable toilet is a gallery, and nobody is minding any of them. Over a single afternoon, one hundred and more of these unattended works were documented, titled, and catalogued with the seriousness they did not ask for.

Arranged in four movements, after the colour of the wall: the Green Period, the Blue Period, the Grey Period, and Verdigris. Each plate carries a proper museum label. None of the works survives.
